Deliverable
The most common deliverable is a fully illustrated report that should be understandable to everyone in your organisation. The report contains descriptions of the problems users experienced in the test and specific suggestions to solve these issues.
A follow-up workshop is very often the most effective way of communicating the results. We will work through the results with you, helping you to prioritise and make plans for the way forward.
Pricing
Our usability tests are priced from NOK 65,000 to NOK 150,000 + VAT.

The price depends on the number of people being tested and the complexity of the product being tested. Prices are all inclusive.
Activity plan for usability test
Initial meeting
- The problems to be addressed
- Practical considerations
- Defining selection criteria for the users
- Find 6-10 individuals (this number is usually sufficient to cover the most important user problems)
- 2-3 days after the initial meeting
NetLife Research prepares the testing plan
- The testing plan is sent to the client and the client provides feedback
- Representative users are recruited internally or through our professional recruitment partners
- It generally takes approximately two weeks from recruitment until completion of the usability testing.
The usability testing process
- Testing generally runs over two days
- The users are asked to work on realistic tasks within the user interface that is being tested
- Most testing is carried out at our in-house testing labs
- We also have portable testing equipment and can carry out remote testing anywhere in the world
Analysis and reporting
- Review of test log
- Analysis of video (if relevant)
- NetLife Research writes a report containing descriptions of user problems and suggested solutions
- We require around seven working days from testing to delivery of our report.
Report delivery
- A straightforward and fully illustrated report is delivered to the client.
Presentation and discussion of results
- We sit down with the client and work through the report findings. It is vital that the client decision makers are present at the meeting.
- In general, we will run a workshop at the client’s offices 2-3 days following delivery of the report.
