Strategy is about making choices. What should we prioritise? What’s not so important? What should we forget about?
We help our clients make effective choices through analysis and close collaboration. The best choices often come from finding answers to key questions such as:
• What do we want to achieve with our website/system?
• What advantages do we have?
• Are there market opportunities that are not being served?
• Where is the industry going – what opportunities does new technology give us?
We draw on the expertise of key client personnel to secure their involvement and we always start with the client’s existing strategy, information and plans. Through creative working techniques and analysis tools tailored to the project, we achieve effective results.
The results from the strategy phase are specific objectives for the system and the project, together with how success will be measured. We place emphasis on producing deliverables that are short, concise and that create practical value in the ongoing process.
Our strategy work to date includes everything from start-ups to stock exchange listed companies and public bodies. For example: we assisted the start-up company Symphonical with the concept and objectives for their web-based collaboration tool; we helped Storebrand to develop their internet strategy for online P&C insurance; and we worked with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in formulating the concept for a portal providing an overview of public policy instruments.
